Real talk with Todd Mundt: growing up in the heyday of Memphis Basketball, racing bikes as a youngster, the love of the baseball diamond and the incredible 1 foot growth spurt. Realizing his dream on the hardwood, the downside of sports, the woman who held it all together and the career that brought him full circle to realize his passion and his value.

A 7′ 0″ center from Jackson Central-Merry in Jackson, Tennessee grew up in the heyday of 1980’s Memphis State basketball squads.

Early start to his Memphis career was a plagued by a few injuries, yet still made his mark as a Memphis center.

Transferring to Delta State his senior year (we discuss that transfer on the show, yet he still landed on the radar of some NBA teams.

After playing for Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks (where fans knew him more from his Memphis days), Mundt took his talents overseas with stints in Taiwan, Australia and Spain where he eventually retired from the game.

Todd Mundt now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee
