From their youth growing up in Orange Mound, the years at Melrose High School, then Memphis State, the short time in Alabama and their return home to Memphis.

We touch on the Civil Rights Movement, her life as the girlfriend and then wife of an athlete and the daunting challenge of being a new wife married to a basketball coach and a new mother.

We laugh a lot in this episode, she shares the good times and the hardships of her life, Larry’s career transition from athlete to coach and those years after coaching at Memphis.
